Adults ABUSING their power towards youg abults.
Adults have a higher power over young abults but it has come to a point where the adults are abusing their power. Staff members in schools are talking to students any kind of way, and it's to the point where students are starting to back fire on the staff members. School is a place where everyone should feel safe, so why are people inside of the school making it uncomfortable? I understand that children are doing things that they aren't suppose to, but the adults are to be more prefressional. If staff members aren't able to work with children then they shouldn't work in schools. I think that their should be respect with everyone, but staff members in the school s are the people who set roles, and they shouldn't be the wrong ones. Children need a safe place to be everyday even if it's for 6 hours out of the day. Schools should be a fun learning places not a place where adults come and be rude.

Nae,
ReplyDeleteAgain, a really great post! I think your blog could be really empowering to young people if you could offer some advice for adults and even for youth who feel disrespected. Or, when you expect respect, what does that look and sound like to you? How do you know when you are being respected by an adult?
Hey! I also found this blog that might be interesting to follow to get some more information or to link up with for others to follow on Adults abusing power or being adultist: http://adultism.blogspot.com/
